Automation Anywhere Architecture

Automation Anywhere Architecture

Automations Anywhere is having mainly 3 components
  1. Control Room
  2. Bot Creator
  3. Bot Runner
1. Control Room – It is a web based platform that controls the Automation Anywhere. It is the server that controls all the Automation Anywhere Bots

Apart from the maintaining the Bots Control Room also deals with
  • User Management – It deals with the Users
  • Source Control – Code for the bots is managed by the Control Room. So it is become very easy to share the code across the systems. For this we can use SVN as well. It can be configured from Control Room
  • Dashboard – It gives complete analytics / results of Automation Anywhere bots. You can see hoe many bots are running and how many are passed / failed. It also provides graphical user interface in the form of charts.
  • License Management – The purchased license of the Automation Anywhere can be configured in the Control Room. There are 2 types of licenses available

Bot Creator License – With this license you can create the bot , edit the bot and run the bot

Bot Runner License – With this license you can only run the bot and schedule the bot. But you can not edit the Bot.

2. Bot Creator – Developers can crate the Bot. The developer licenses will configure the Bots from Control Room. Different Developers can be create individual Tasks / Bots. These Bots could be merged and executed at once.

3. Bot Runner – The Bot Runner is the machine where you can run the Bot. The Bots reports back the execution logs to the Control Room. For this it is required Bot Runner License.
