CEO (Higher Management): Responsibilities in Agile Scrum:

  • Receive proposal from client in project or  prepare proposal in product.
  • conduct "kick of meeting" to select Product owner (PO)
  • Get approval on PO selection from client and stakeholders.
  • In product, ceo/higher management can appoint model customers and stakeholders.

Customer / client Responsibilities in Agile scrum:

  • Send proposal to higher management of software company to develop new software.
  • need appoint SHs
  • Approve selection of PO
  • Share requirements to PO along with SHs
  • involve in every sprint review meeting.
  • Suggest changes in PBL(product backlog) (Refinement)

Stake holders Responsibilities in Agile scrum:

  • Approve selection of PO along with customers.
  • share Requirements to PO along with customers
  • involve in every sprint planning meeting along with PO, SM AND Scrum team.
  • Attend to daily scrum meeting/standup meeting along with PO,SM, and ST FOR STATUS REPORTING.
  • Involved in every sprint review meeting along with  PO,SM, and ST to collect feedback from customer.
  • involve in PBL Refinement meeting along with  PO,SM, and ST to accept changes from customers.

Product owner responsibilities in agile scrum:

  • Gather all requirements as user stories by sitting with customer and stake holder.
  • can take help of external subject matter expert while getting requirements from customer and stake holder.
  • select some user stories from all user stories for every sprint.
  • Responsible to attend daily scrum meeting along with SHs  to motivate SM & ST.
  • Responsible  FOR QUALITY OF SPRINT and ROI (RETURN ON INVESTMENT).
  • Participate in every sprint review along with SHs, SM and ST to collect correct feedback from customers.
  • Responsible  for sprint release.
  • Involve in PBL Refinement meeting along with SHs, SM and ST to refine or change us in PBL w.r.t customer changes.

Scrum master responsibilities:

  • PO is a decision maker where as scrum master is facilitator.
  • Responsible to organize sprint planning meeting, daily scrum meeting, sprint review meeting, sprint retrospective meeting and PBL Refinement meeting.
  • Responsible to prepare schedules and get approval from PO
  • Responsible  to improve skills of scrum team.
  • Remove team level issues.
  • Protect team from External interference.

Scrum team responsibilities:

Developers of scrum team can finish HLD and LLDof sprint and they are responsible for coding, unit testing, integration, integration testing, sprint release to testers and bug fixing.

QA testers are responsible for study sprint backlog user stories and prepare test scenarios and cases along with test data. they are responsible for test execution, test automation, defect reporting and bug closing.

  • formation of trained freshers
  • responsible to handle change request
  • release patch file to customer site
