Delete :The deletion of rows is done using DELETE statement in SQL. The DELETE statement only deletes rows and not the table. i.e the table would exist although rows from table are deleted.
Dropping the Table:
There is a difference in deleting a table and deleting all rows in a table. Suppose you have executed following statement "delete emplyoee" .
The preceding code snippet would delete all rows from the table. so you can insert rows later on.
Deleting the entire table using following query: drop table emplyoee;
The preceding output shows that the emplyoee table is dropped. Inserting rows into a table, which is dropped, would return an error starting tht table doesnot exist.
